Award Ceremony Heinz Maier-Leibnitz-Prize by the DFG and BMBF
On May 4, 2021, four female and six male researchers received the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Prize 2021, the top award for early career investigators in Germany. Congratulations to all awardees. We are deeply honored that the research by the BRAINIACS group was acknowledged through such an exceptional award. It is a great recognition of our recent research achievements and an inspiring motivation to continue the exciting path of exploring the mechanics of our brain. A huge thanks to the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), and the selection committee, not least for organizing a great virtual award ceremony.
